What it does
ARTHEIA S.R.L. develops and sells, also as SaaS, a proprietary software platform for creating, managing and verifying over time the documentation of the authorship of artworks. The platform lets artists sign declarations of authorship and verify their integrity and time references, integrating qualified electronic signature, time stamping and digital preservation services provided by third parties. The company also develops ways to access and verify the documentation through NFC cards with cryptographic functions.
Its first product is Ichnos, now in development and in technical and legal validation. Ichnos documents the artist’s declaration: it is not an independent appraisal of authenticity.
Research and development
The research concerns the cryptographic protocols that bind the digital documentation to the physical card used to access it, the security of access and the verifiability of documents over the long term.
For the first year of activity the greater of cost and value of production will be the cost, estimated at EUR 15,000.00, and research and development expenses will exceed 15% of that value, as provided by art. 25, paragraph 2, letter h), of Decree-Law no. 179/2012.

Shareholders and skills
Shareholder: Eugenio Cobalto. He holds a diploma from the “Nino Cortese” scientific high school in Maddaloni (applied sciences) and since 2025 has been studying for a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity at Epicode Institute of Technology. He attended training on IT security, artificial intelligence and data management at the Italian National School of Heritage and Cultural Activities. He built a demo version of the platform and gained experience in the art sector supporting galleries, managing and cataloguing private collections and producing videos about artists.
